We had a wonderful stay at this vacation rental during our ski trip! The location was close to the slopes. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything we needed to cook meals comfortably, and the amenities overall were exceptional. We especially appreciated how flexible and accommodating the host was in allowing us to arrive a couple of hours early.
There are just a few areas for improvement. The pre-arrival instructions were a bit confusing, as the initial message included numbers that were censored, so I had to follow up and they did respond quickly. Additionally, the driving address was listed as “Mahaney’s Lane” instead of “Mahaney Lane.” We followed the instructions given by the host and personally had no trouble finding it, but our friends did experience some confusion because of this. Lastly, we were a bit surprised to see both dead and live flies in the house, especially considering the cleaning fee.
Overall, this was a great stay in a fantastic location, and with a few small adjustments, it would be absolutely perfect. We’d happily return!
The Birch cabin was perfect for our party of two families with an extra bedroom to spare. The property was close to Sunday River and anything else you could need. The cabin was clean, cozy and comfortable and the pool table was a bonus. Another great experience working with the folks at Four Seasons Rentals where the communication is great and they provide very personalized service if you need anything.
