This beautifully designed 4-bedroom, 3.5-bath mountain home is the perfect destination to unplug, unwind, and reconnect with nature—while still enjoying all the comforts of a luxury retreat.
Thoughtfully named to reflect the peace and freedom it offers, Out of Office features a spacious and inviting layout ideal for families or groups. On the second floor, you’ll find two private en-suite bedrooms, each with a king-sized bed, a full bathroom, and scenic views—perfect for couples or guests who appreciate a little extra comfort and privacy.
Downstairs, the main living area boasts oversized windows, and a cozy stone fireplace that invites you to relax after a day of outdoor adventures. The open-concept kitchen is fully equipped with stainless steel appliances, granite countertops, and all the essentials for preparing meals at home. The adjacent dining area seats the whole group, and the large deck just outside is perfect for grilling and dining under the stars.
Two additional bedrooms include a a fun bunk room ideal for kids or extra guests and another room with a full size bed and another set of bunks, sharing access to a well-appointed full bath. A convenient half-bath is located on the main level.
Outdoors, Out of Office sits on a quiet, wooded lot. You're just minutes from Sunday River Resort’s summer offerings—like scenic chairlift rides, zip-lining, and mountain biking—as well as the Androscoggin River for kayaking and fishing.
Only a short drive away, the charming town of Bethel offers local restaurants, shops, and seasonal events. Whether you’re golfing at Sunday River Golf Club, exploring Grafton Notch State Park, Out of Office is your ideal home base for a memorable Maine summer.
~Cancellation Policy:
If you cancel more than 30 days before arrival: You’ll receive a refund of your deposit, minus a $50 processing fee.
If you cancel within 30 days of arrival: You’ll be refunded for any portion of your stay that is rebooked by another guest.
We had an absolutely fantastic stay at Out of Office! The house is perfectly appointed—everything is brand new, thoughtfully designed, and beautifully decorated. It’s incredibly spacious, and our group of 10 (4 adults and 6 kids) had more than enough room to spread out and enjoy both together time and privacy when needed.The layout is ideal for larger families or groups, with every detail clearly considered for comfort and convenience. The kids had a blast, and the adults loved how easy everything was—from cooking in the well-stocked kitchen to relaxing in the comfortable living spaces.The location is also a huge plus—close to everything, yet peaceful and quiet. We truly couldn’t have asked for a better home base for our getaway.We’re already talking about our next trip back.
